I was briefly a member of a Kindle reading group where each member would recommend a book for another member to read. Season of the Harvest was the book recommended to me, and after reading it, I eventually read the rest of the series. The gap in reading between book 1 and book 2 was related to work and school for me – the story is great!

Kristin is at the top of the list of my favorite authors. As is obvious, I have read all of her books on Kindle. I own in paperback most of her older novels but I have not read them because I can’t remember where they are. They used to be on one bookcase, which we replaced with a wine rack, and now I can’t remember where the books landed. And, I haven’t looked for them as reading physical books strains my eyes and triggers migraines.
Arturo Pérez-Reverte

Arturo is a Spanish writer and all of his books are written in Spanish. Obviously. Only some of his novels have been translated to English, so I am only listing the books I have read.

I had heard about the series a long time ago – A is for Alibi. But I didn’t start reading until I heard that Sue had passed away. I immediately bought the first book and quickly finished the series. Quickly meaning I read pretty much straight through the month of January. It is sad that there will not be any more stories of Kinsey. But, I am glad that I got to read the ones that are out there.
Check out Sue’s website for the treats that she provided.
H.G. Wells
The Time Machine, 1895 -read 1/5/2021
The War of the Worlds, 1898
Since I am reading “classics” currently, none of the authors are still living. They do seem to have official websites with the purpose of providing information about their lives and their writing.
